There's nothing better than an $8 glass of crisp dry white wine at happy hour, a dozen oysters for a a dozen dollars (I mean, where else can you find dollar oysters? In THIS economy??), and a batch of truffle oil fries sprinkled with parmesan cheese. Do I always over order refills of wine? Yes. Do I regret it? Sometimes. But is my wallet happy? You betcha. Such a cute spot and perfect for a catch up with friends. Isaac is one cool dude!

Wonderful service! We notified the staff we had a show to catch and they fully acknowledge and acommadated it. Started off with a bread basket which isn't common in NYC, per se. Our table got the $39 pre-fix menu which came with an appetizer, main and dessert. I am not sure when it starts but it ends at 7pm. I got the branzino ceviche, salmon and coffee creme brûlée. The ceviche and salmon were excellent portions and helped with my protein intake for the day. Highly recommend and glad we stumbled upon this spot!

This was absolutely amazing. The oysters were next to none and the food all tasted so fresh. Trying a hot plate next time would be great thing. The drinks were so good! Mine was the pear and it was soooo good. Looking for seafood, this was a great spot!

I arrived earlier than my date this evening Planning on attending the Louis Armstrong play afterwards and was allowed to sit outside at a table with a glass of wine. How perfect was that. When my guest arrived we dined indoors and it was quaint and lovely. We ordered Salmon and it was superbly prepared. Followed by a delicious dessert. The servers kept everything moving smoothly and we left with enough time to stroll to our show. Such a wonderful experience.

Pretty good! Walked in for an early dinner on a Wednesday night and was able to get seated. It was a little loud inside but the service was alright. The mixed grilled seafood was awesome (and a lot of food). Nothing else stood out as particularly good/bad. The pours of wine were a little small for the price/quality.

Recently, my friend and I stopped into this fabulous spot on 9th Avenue, which was def worth the visit. We sat at the bar - she's a drinker and I'm sober - and both found something that we enjoyed. She ordered the "watermelon vibe," which she savored, and I ordered a pineapple juice (on ice). I wasn't hungry, but she was ready for a little something; so, she also ordered three different types of oysters (two of each type). Our bartender and server, Matt, was both helpful and kind, as was his bartender colleague; forgive me, as I only grabbed Matt's name. We struck up a conversation with Matt, and he was easygoing, charming and pleasant, too. It was a gentle and welcoming place to hang for a while. This is a sweet, low key eatery for a late evening drink and/or nosh. Their items are elegantly prepared and presented, yet relatively affordable. We recommend it! Best, Kat

I had a delivery order of oysters, fish & chips and panna cotta. I had never ordered nor expected a restaurant to deliver shucked raw oysters, but Blue Seafood Bar did and they were excellent! They were served on ice with cocktail sauce and lemons. They were juicy, fresh and delicious! The flounder was nicely cooked with some crispiness to the breading and a nicely cooked large single piece of fish inside. The fries were still crispy, too. I really enjoyed the panna cotta dessert...excellent! Also included were two small pieces of a strange looking though tasty purple colored sour dough bread! Delivery was fast, and the price was average for Manhattan. In all, I was very pleased with this meal! I hope to go to this restaurant in the future.
